Ghanaian international, Francis Abu has rallied his teammates at FC Nordsjælland to fight to challenge the top three teams in the Danish Superliga.

Recently, the club has lost its form after starting well in the 2021/2022 football season. A defeat to Randers over the weekend meant that the club has lost three straight matches.

Despite the difficult spell the club is going through, Francis Abu says the team must not give up.

According to him, it is time to continue working and he will do his part to ensure FC Nordsjælland wins more matches.

“Most of all, I want to continue to win matches and win even more matches. We have to challenge the top three and play for the European places. That is what our goal is,” Francis Abu said in an interview.

He added, “And then also want to hold on to my starting place, play even more minutes and contribute with good performances.”

With Kamaldeen Sulemana leaving FC Nordsjælland this summer, it appears the club is struggling.

The players are however confident of turning things around in the next few weeks.
