Italy-born midfielder of Ghanaian descent, Justin Kumi is one of several players tipped to get promotion to the first team of Sassuolo ahead of next season.
The 19-year-old was a star for Sassuolo U19 in the 2023/24 season and as melbet kenya revealed the team made history by winning the Primavera Championship for the first time.
After a win against Roma to make history, Justin Kumi expressed his excitement and happiness after the match.
“Yes, it's the first time that Sassuolo has won the Primavera Championship, we are super happy.
“Yes, we listened to Bigica's teachings and managed to win," Kumi told Sportitalia.
Having caught the eye of many, Justin Kumi is now tipped as one of the players from Sassuolo U19 to be promoted to the first team.
In the just-ended season, the midfielder scored six goals and provided five assists in 28 games.
The other players expected to get promotion to Sassuolo's senior team include Flavio Russo, Simone Cinquegrano, as well as Kevin Leone.
