Ghanaian midfielder Kofi Twumasi has completed his move to German Regionalliga side Rot Weiss Oberhausen from Romanian outfit FC Constanta in the on-going summer transfer window.

Twumasi signed a three-year deal with the German fourth-tier side on a free transfer on Thursday following the expiration of his contract with FC Constanta.

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at CFR Cluj, where he made 12 league appearances and scored two goals.

Kofi, who was born in Kumasi grew up in America and he is yet to represent Ghana or the Yankees at any level.

"It has taken a little longer than we thought," said Oberhausen sporting director Patrick Bauder.

"But this can happen in international transfers due to the bureaucratic conditions. We are glad that it worked now and Kofi officially belongs to the squad. He will certainly do well for our game."
