Ghanaian youngster Mathew Anim Cudjoe has been nominated for Dundee United Goal of the Season Award.

The former Asante Kotoko and Legon Cities winger has been a peripheral figure since joining the Scottish outfit. He played a huge role to help the club secure qualification back to the Scottish Premier League.

Anim Cudjoe’s goal against Dunfermline Athletic from outside the box has earned nomination and will be hoping to snatch it at the expense of other players.

The Ghanaian forward faces competition from teammates Kai Fotheringham, Kevin Holt, Louis Moult and Tony Watt for the prestigious award.

The fans of the club have been thee green light to vote for their favourite player before 5pm on Wednesday 1 May to select.

The 20-year-old has scored four goals and provided three assist in 21 games in the Scottish Championship.

Meanwhile Dundee United will be playing in the Scottish Premier League next season after securing qualification.
