Ghanaian youngster, Nathaniel Opoku continued his fine form in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday as he scored in his third successive goal for OH Leuven.

The talented winger has come to prominence in the past month after putting up some outstanding performances.

Today, Nathaniel Opoku was named in the starting eleven of OH Leuven when the team locked horns with Standard Liege.

In the first half of the game, the forward scored in the 43rd minute to send his team into the break with a narrow lead.

While a strike from Merveille Bokadi 10 minutes into the second half would restore parity for Standard Liege, a brace from Jon Dagur in the 63rd and 66th minutes respectively put OH Leuven back in control of the match.

Although FillipoMelegoni would net a second consolation goal for Standard Liege, it was not enough to save the side from a 3-2 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.

With his goal today, Nathaniel Opoku now has three goals and one assist in seven appearances in the Belgian Pro League.
