Ghanaian international, Owusu Sekyere has completed a move to join Chinese Super League side, Cangzhou Mighty Lions FC.

The forward has been signed from the Estonian side, Paide FC to strengthen the club in China.

He leaves Paide FC after spending two years with the club and earning a name for himself as a top player.

Opening up on the transfer, Owusu Sekyere said he is happy with the progress in his career but sad he is leaving Paide FC.

"My feelings are mixed. I'm happy about the progress made, but it's sad to leave such a nice club like Paide. I came here in 2020 young, 20 years old, not knowing anything about Estonia.

“I hesitated at first, but those close to me advised me to try and only then decide. From the moment when Linnameeskonna people met me at the airport and I met the players and the club staff, I started to like it here,” Owusu Sekyere said.

During that period, Owusu Sekyere made 52 appearances in the Estonian Premium League where he scored 27 goals and assisted eight times.
