Ghanaian striker Ragnar Ache has signed a contract extension with newly-promoted Dutch Eredivisie side Spart Rotterdam.

The 21-year-old penned a two-year deal with the Castle Lords following impressive performances for the youth side.

Ache was a key cog for Sparta U-21  side last season, where he scored five goals in 11 games in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.

“Ragnar has had a lot of injuries during the first part of the last season, but he has come out of it very well,” says Henk van Stee about the striker. ‘At the end of last season, he proved to have specific qualities and scoring ability, something he shows again in the preparation for this season. We wanted to connect him to the club for longer and are happy that he remains Spartan. ”
