Ghanaian teenager, Richmond Tachie scored for his Dortmund II team on Tuesday as they beat SV Bergisch Gladbach 3-1 to inch closer to gaining promotion.
The forward and his Black and Yellow teammates have impressed in the Regionalliga since the 2020/2021 campaign commenced.
Last Tuesday, the Dortmund II side locked horns with SV Bergisch Gladbach in what was the team’s final home game and last but one encounter of the season.
On the matchday, attacker Richmond Tachie opened the scoring for the host in the 25th minute to ensure they went into the break with a deserved lead.
In addition to goals from Dominik Wanner and Steffan Tigger, Dortmund II cruised to an important win.
Currently top of the German Regionalliga and with a three points gap at the top, Richmond Tachie and his Dortmund teammates only need to avoid defeat in their final match of the season against Wuppertalar SV to achieve the promotion dream.
