It hasn't been an easy start for Ghanaian youngster Salim Abubakar and his club Sassuolo in the Italian U19 division as they had their first taste of victory in a 1-0 win against Cagliari on Sunday.

Salim Abubakar put in an encouraging performance for 75 minutes to help Sassuolo win away from home in matchday 5 of the Primavera 1 division.

The 18-year-old played a role in that decisive goal when he controlled the ball on his chest, and blocked two defenders to allow his teammate Luigi Samele to strike the ball into the right bottom corner in the 58th minute.
