Forward Andre Dede Ayew impressed for Swansea City on Saturday as he scored and provided an assist in the team’s important 3-0 win against Middlesbrough.

The two clubs went head to head at the Riverside Stadium as the 2019/2020 Sky Bet Championship season bounced back after a 3 months break as a result of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease.

Despite playing as the away side, Swansea City displayed fine form and dominated Middlesbrough from the blast of the first-half whistle.

On the 18th minute, Rhian Brewster shot the Swans into the lead after he was assisted by Andre Ayew.

Shortly after, the attacker was presented with another fine opportunity and made no mistake as he netted again to complete his brace.

After 36 minutes of play, Andre Ayew registered his name on the scoresheet from the penalty spot to wrap up what ended as a deserved 3-0 win away from home.

The Ghanaian international with today’s contribution has taken his statistics of the season to 13 goals and 3 assists after featuring in 36 matches.

He remains key for Swansea City and will be expected to do more in the last part of the English Championship season to help the side earn a play-off spot.
