Black Stars striker Antoine Semenyo scored in Bournemouth's 3-1 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Antoine Semenyo started the game at Anfield and lasted 76 minutes. He was replaced by David Brooks.

The away side started the game very well and shocked the home fans with an early strike.

Semenyo struck the ball unerringly into the bottom-right corner to put the Cherries in front. An error by Alexander-Arnold was not swept up by the Liverpool defence, and the Solanke poked the ball through a gap before Semenyo thumped it past Alisson to give the visitors the lead.

In the 27th minute, Liverpool scored an equalizer through Luis Diaz. Played in by Jota's deflected pass from the right, Diaz flicked the ball up for himself and crashed past a helpless Neto to level the game up at 1-1.

Liverpool extended their lead in the 36th minute Mohammed Salah's initial penalty was saved but he pounced on the loose ball to make it 2-1.

Alexis Mac Allister received a second yellow card for a bad tackle and was sent off.

Jota scored in the 62nd minute to make it 3-1.

Bournemouth will play Tottenham in their next league game.
