Ghana's Augustine Okrah set to depart Tanzanian club Simba SC

Former Ghana Premier League goal king Augustine Okrah is on the brink of bidding farewell to his current team, Simba SC, according to African football journalist Micky Junior.

The Ghanaian winger joined the Tanzania giants during last year's summer transfer window from Ghana Premier League side Bechem United.

Okrah signed a two-year contract with the Lions of Msimbazi after passing his medical examination with the Tanzania club.

Augustine Okrah scored his first goal for Simba FC in their preseason friendly against Egyptian side Ismaily SC which ended in a 1-1 draw.

During his debut season with Bechem in the 2013/14 league season, Okrah scored 16 goals. He was also the top scorer and player of the season that year.

Okrah later went on loan to Swedish club BK Hacken before joining Sudanese powerhouse Al Merreikh the following year.

After a season, he crossed the carpet to join rivals Al Hilal Omdurman.

Okrah has previously played for NorthEast United in India and Smouha SC in Egypt.
