Ghana misfielder Baba Alhassan scored a late equaliser for FC Hermannstadt against FCV Farul Constanta in the Romanian Superliga on Saturday.
The 23-year-old made sure his side left the round 16 league game with a point after bagging the equaliser in the first minute of added time at the Stadionul central al Academiei Gheorghe Hagi.
The goal was only Alhassan's second of the 2023/24 season in 16 appearances, starting 13 of those games.
The draw leaves his side FC Hermannstadt fourth on the league log with 24 points while the home side sits seventh with 22 points.
FCV Farul Constanta took the lead 27 minutes into the game when Andrei Artean scored the opener from a Constantin Budescu assist.
That meant the hosts went into the break with the advantage, hoping to hold on and pick the maximum points.
However, Baba Alhassan scored the equalising goal for FC Hermannstadt late in the game to end the clash 1-1.
