Ghanaian forward Caleb Ekuban has arrived in Turkey to complete his switch from English Championship side Leeds to Trabzonspor in the ongoing summer transfer window. Ekuban, 24, who has been on the radar of several clubs opted to move to Turkey after a difficult spell in England.

The Italian-born Ghanaian was earlier reported to be returning to Albanian to sign for Partizani Tirani after it was clear he was out of manager Marcelo Bielsa's plans for the season.

He has been on the books of Leeds since the summer of 2017 when he moved from Chievo in Italy.

Caleb has struggled to make an impact at Elland Road so far and is not guaranteed a place in the Whites’ starting lineup.

The striker started 12 matches and made eight substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds last season, scoring one goal in the process.

Having yet to feature in the league for Leeds this season, Ekuban may not even get into matchday squads this campaign.
