Ghana international, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh scored with a fine effort on Saturday to earn a point for FC St. Pauli in the game against Werder Bremen in the German Bundesliga 2.

The exciting attacker was handed a starting role today when his team hosted the matchday 29 opponent of the German lower-tier league.

In a game to decide who stays top of the Bundesliga 2 standings at the end of the weekend, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh displayed excellent form and managed to net the opening goal in the 43rd minute to give his team the lead.

Although FC St. Pauli will go into halftime with the lead, Werder Bremen came in strong after recess and fought to equalize through a strike from Niclas Füllkrug in the 58th minute to restore parity.

Despite the efforts of both teams in the remainder of the clash, neither could score again as the encounter ended in a 1-1 stalemate.

Courtesy of his goal today, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh now has 10 goals and 9 assists after making 23 appearances for FC St. Pauli this season.
