Ghana’s Hafiz Akadom scores for Sirens in defeat to Birkirkara

Ghana midfielder Hafiz Mohammed Akadom scored for Sirens FC in a defeat to Birkirkara FC in the Malta Premier League on Sunday, January 7, 2024.

The match at the Sirens Stadium witnessed an early lead for Birkirkara as Maxuell Samurai netted the opening goal just nine minutes into the game.

The visitors maintained their one-goal advantage as the teams headed into the halftime break.

Birkirkara doubled their lead shortly after the hour mark, with Maxuell Samurai once again finding the back of the net.

However, Hafiz Mohammed Akadom quickly responded for Sirens, scoring a consolation goal just two minutes after Samurai's second strike.
