Ghana's Jordi Osei-Tutu pays emotional farewell to VfL Bochum

Ghanaian youngster Jordi Osei-Tutu has paid an emotional tribute to VfL Bochum after returning to Arsenal.

Osei-Tutu joined the German second-tier side on a season-long deal prior ot the start of 2019/20 season and went on to play a key role in his side's campaign.

The 21-year-old made 22 appearances for Bochum in all competitions, scored five goals and registered three assists as they finished 8th on the league table.

"About a year ago today I began a new chapter in my career at @vflbochum1848.official, and I was determined to go there and make a significant impact. During my time at @vflbochum1848.official, I strongly developed as a footballer and as a person."

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff, coaches, and my previous manager for making this possible. Additionally, I want to give a big shoutout to my teammates whom I shared a dressing room with. I strongly believe that this current group of players can push for promotion next season.

Bochum were hoping to secure another loan deal with Arsenal but the London club were not interested.
