Ghanaian international Lawson Sabah will join his Linköping City teammates to train this weekend as they seek to stay in shape.

The club based in Sweden was looking forward to the start of the 2020 season but it had to be postponed due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Though they are adhering to precautionary measures, the Swedish Division One league club has decided to train through the period.

Linköping City has been training since the beginning of the weekend and was even set to play a friendly match with Motala AIF at the Linköping arena last Tuesday.

Ghana’s Sabah Lawson who has been absent from the training session is set to join his teammates on Saturday to train.

He is considered as one of the best players for the club and will be expected to stay in shape as the club awaits the return of football.

Meanwhile, with his loan deal with Linköping City set to end on June 30, 2020, it is unclear if he will return to IFK Göteborg or extend his stay.
