Ghanaian defender Manuel Nana Agyemang has penned a two-year contract with Nepal Premier League outfit Himalayan Sherpa FC.

The player took to Twitter to announce his move, expressing his gratitude to God for the new opportunity.

"Extremely grateful to GOD for this new chapter.

"I’m truly excited to share this wonderful moment with friends and family.

"Thanks to everyone who’s been on this journey with me.

"This is to GOD’s glory, not mine."

Agyemang, aged 20, joined Himalayan Sherpa FC on a free transfer after ending his stint with Indian club Rebel FC. His signing is expected to bring stability to the team's defense, which suffered a setback last season.

The center-back has previously featured for Salvation FC, Dawtex FC, and Young Apostles FC in his home country, Ghana.
