Ghana's Mohammed Muntari left out of Qatar squad to face Black Stars

Ghanaian striker Mohammed Muntari has been left out of the Qatar squad that will be facing off with the Black Stars on Monday, October 12, 2020.

Born and raised in Ghana, the attacker moved to Qatar where he naturalized for Qatar while playing his football in the Asian country.

He was called up to the Qatar national team in December 2014 and made his debut on 27 December in a friendly against Estonia. On his debut, the attacker managed to score his first goal and has since become a key member of the team.

However, ahead of Qatar’s clash against Ghana tomorrow, Mohammed Muntari has been axed out of the team’s squad.

The Asian Champions traveled with a total of 25 players but the Ghanaian forward did not earn a spot.
