Ghana's 2022 World Cup opponent South Korea defeated Cameroon 1-0 in an international friendly on Tuesday.

The biggest soccer mundial has been scheduled for November and December, where 32 countries will battle it out for the covetous trophy in Qatar.

Ghana has been paired in Group H against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea at the mundial.

Today, Ghana’s opponent South Korea engaged African brothers, Cameroon in a friendly and inflicted a 1-0 win over the Indomitable Lions.

Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min scored the only goal of the match in the 35th minute at the Sangam Stadium in a pre-World Cup friendly.

Son headed in a rebound following Kim Jin-su's initial shot in the 35th minute, and the Taegeuk Warriors made the lead stand before 59,389 fans at Seoul World Cup Stadium.

South Korea played out a thrilling 2-2 draw against Los Ticos of Costa Rica when the teams went head-to-head at the Goyang Stadium on Friday.

Paulo Bento’s side unbeaten in six of their seven warm-up fixtures since the turn of the year with the only defeat in that time being a comprehensive 5-1 loss to Brazil back in June.

The Asian country will likely play a final match in November before the start of the World Cup in Qatar.
