Ghanaian defender Gideon Jung has been a lucky charm for Hamburg this season despite having a dark cloud on his future at the club.

The 26-year-old signed for Hamburg in 2014 and was a key player for the side until this season where he has been given just six appearances.

In those appearances, he has started three and has been used as a substitute three times. In all six games which he has been present, Hamburg have come out victors. This means that the team has recorded three points per game every time Jung has found himself on the pitch.

He has been left out entirely on six occasions and Hamburg have failed to win any of them. It indicates the lucky charm Jung brings to the side.

Jung could be on his way out of the club this winter.
