The Ghana Premier League side is one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the country which is fond of turning around the fortunes of players.

They have recently acquired some new additions in a bid to boost their squad for their participation in the CAF Champions League. Some of such players include in-form Kelvin Andoh, Justice Blay, George Abege, and Richard Arthur who are all enjoying a good time at the club at the moment.

Speaking in a post-match interview after the Porcupine Warriors beat Kano Pillars 2-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Felix Annan advised the new signings to take advantage of the ‘big team’ status of the club and play on top level to ensure they enjoy the benefits that come with wearing the red jersey.

“This is a big club. This is Asante Kotoko. Players come and go. Coaches come and go. If you are there you know you always have to do your best. For me I always tell the new guys that you are here, some came and have done their job and they are no more here”.

“You are here today so when you play and you play good you will get the exposure and then you will get good opportunities. For me, it’s just simple. Nobody needs to encourage you. No one needs to give you motivation when you play for Kotoko because when you play every game the expectation is always high”.

“When you want to become a big player and you have the chance to play for Kotoko, you have to be privileged and you have to do your best. It’s just a simple message to them. Just give out your best and then your career will change”, the highly-rated goalkeeper shared”, the Black Stars goalkeeper said.
