Gladson Awako completes move to Great Olympics

Former Ghana U-20 player, Gladson Awako has completed a transfer to Accra Great Olympics ahead of the imminent start of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

Formerly of TP Mazambe, the midfielder has been in talks with the top-flight club and has finally agreed to a two-year deal that will see him playing for the club until 2021.

He joins as a free agent after partying ways with Rising Phoenix in the United State of America following an unsuccessful stint.

He has joined Olympics with the aim of relaunching his career while helping the reinstated Ghana Premier League side to challenge for League triumph.

Gladson Awako played a huge role in the former Ghana U-23 team that defeated Brazil on penalties in 2009 to become the first African country to conquer the world at the Youth level.
