Forward Gladson Awako has been named the Nasco Man of the Match after his stellar performance propelled Great Olympics to a 1-0 win against WAFA SC.
The capital-based club hosted the side from Sogakope at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon for a clash on matchday six of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
Featuring for his Great Olympics side, Gladson Awako put up a captain’s performance and scored in the first half to give the home team the lead.
With WAFA unable to equalize at the end of the 90 minutes, Gladson Awako and his teammates are celebrating what has become a second successive victory.
Assessing the performance of all players at the end of the game, the experienced forward has been picked as the standout performer and walks home with the NASCO Man of the Match award.
