The owner and Life Patron of Asante Kotoko, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has admonished the team to win the upcoming fixture against Samartex Football Club.

After seven games in the Ghana Premier League, the Asantehene is concerned and unhappy about the situation.

On Thursday, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu met with the playing body, the coaching staff, and the Interim Management Committee.

At the meeting, Otumfuo charged every player to work hard for the team and prove that they are capable.

He implored the team to ensure victory is secured in the next game against Samartex FC.

“I am expecting something better from you. Prove to me that you are capable and if the coach is the problem, then I will take a decision on him. But for now, make sure you go and play and win,” Otumfuo said.

The fixture between Asante Kotoko and Samartex FC is scheduled for Sunday, April 21.

The game will kick off at 3 pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
