Goalkeeper Richard Attah disappointed with Hearts of Oak’s defeat against Chelsea

Goalkeeper for Accra Hearts of Oak, Richard Attah has expressed his disappointment following the club’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of Berekum Chelsea last Sunday.

The Phobians hosted the Berekum-based club at the Accra Sports Stadium on the opening weekend of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season to try and get off to a good start.

At the end of 90 minutes, they were stunned by Berekum Chelsea who emerged as 1-0 winners courtesy a strike from Jonah Attuquaye.

In a post on Twitter after the match, Richard Attah who was an unused substitute for the Phobians shared, “Very disappointed result yesterday, please we pleading the supporters to forgive us, that they should keep trusting us we will surely bounce back strong”.

In Hearts of Oak’s next game against Medeama SC, it is likely Richard Attah will be handed his first start.
