The skillful defender believes his side will clinch the Ghalca 6 trophy in the final slated for Baba Yara sports stadium on sunday to please the club owner Nana Agyemang Badu and the people of Dormaa.

The Dormaa based side went past their regional rivals Bechem united to reached the finals of the G6 preseason tourney while the Hearts of Oak defeated their arch rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko 6-5 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regulation at  the Baba Yara sports stadium to book a place in the final.

Saka speaking on Kumasi based radio “Ashh Fm” revealed how disappointing it was to miss out on the trophy last year against Kotoko as well as losing out on the Ghana Premier League in the just ended season hence the need to win this time to please their loyal fans.

“All the players are fully fit and motivated for the final game and am optimistic Aduana stars will conquer the Phobians but is not going to be an easy game.”

“We have a strong squad and we are not afraid of any team in Ghana. We are moved by confidence and hard work,” he asserted.

The ex- Aduana captain added: ” We were in the final last year but we lost, we almost won the just ended GhPL, but things didn’t materialized so this time around we are focused and need to win the G6 for Nana Agyemang Badu and the Dormaa Township.”

Saka hailed the team’s new head coach and praised his tactics and style of coaching.

“Coach Yusif Abubakar attitude and style of coaching is similar to Cioba Aristica’s style so we feel like being with an old system which is helping the team hence our good performance of late.”
