Goldfields to announce bumper sponsorship deal for Medeama SC next Week

Mining giants, Goldfields-Tarkwa and Damang is set to announce a bumper sponsorship deal with Medeama SC that will see the club setting a new record in the West African country.

In the most part of the last decade, the Ghanaian mining company has been a backbone for the Ghana Premier League club, cushioning the side to become one of the giants on the local scene.

Following the partying ways with betting company Betway, Medeama SC has on the back of successful negotiations reached an agreement with Goldfields-Tarkwa and Damang that will see the firm becoming their principal sponsors.

According to sources, the mining company will announce a lucrative $300,000 sponsorship deal with Medeama SC on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.

The deal once announced will mean that the club has become the first in the country to seal a deal of such financial magnitude.

It is understood that Medeama SC board chairman, Dr. Tony Aubynn, and Executive Vice President and Head of GoldFields in West Africa,  Alfred Baku led the talks on each side to reach the agreement.

Besides the yet to be announced bumper sponsorship deal, Goldfields is constructing a 10,000 seater capacity stadium for the club that will cost a whopping $13 million.
