Good Riddance! Crystal Palace Striker Rejoices Over Alan Pardew's Sacking

Published on: 21 December 2016

Crystal Palace striker Frazier Campbell doesn't seem disappointed at all at the fact that Alan Pardew has lost his job as manager.

In fact, he's even quite happy about it.

With the Eagles announcing the termination of Pardew's contract on Thursday, it was expected that some of the supporters, and even outsiders, would drop a like on social media. But a fairly conspicuous name popped up among the likes, and it was none other than the club's own player.

The striker dropped a like on the club's Instagram announcement, not minding that everyone else could see.

Campbell must have had some serious beef with Pardew to show his appreciation for the sacking so publicly, particularly since being largely overlooked by the former manager for much of his tenure.

With a hectic period to navigate through, Palace are thought to be working feverishly to appoint a new manager.

According to Sky Sports, Sam Allardyce - who is favourite to land the job - already has a meeting in place, and his representatives will meetwith club chairmanSteve Parish to discuss the vacancy within the next 24 hours
