The acting head coach of Asante Kotoko, Abdul Gazale is confident the side can win the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season title.

The Porcupine Warriors lifted the title at the end of last season and now aiming to successfully defend the title.

With Asante Kotoko just five points behind the team top of the Ghana Premier League standings, coach Abdul Gazale is counting on the other clubs in the top four to slip and drop points in the upcoming matches.

“With these 9 matches, there are a lot of points over there and we also know that those who are on top they are also going to drop points,” the acting head coach of Asante Kotoko said after the draw against King Faisal last week.

Next weekend, Asante Kotoko will return to action in the Ghana Premier League. The Reds will be facing off with Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park.
