Great Olympics are close to complete the signing of former Berekum Chelsea midfielder Gladson Awako in the on-going transfer window, Footballghana.com can report.
Awako has started negotiations with the ‘Oly Dade’ lads for a possible switch return ahead of the start of new season.
The 28-year-old has been without club since parting ways with American club Phoenix Rising in 2018.
According to reports, talks have reached an advanced stage and will be announced as the new signing for the club in the coming days.
Great Olympics have already signed Emmanuel Clottey and former Aduana Stars skipper Godfred Saka to augment their squad for next season.
He was a member of Ghana U-20 team that won both the 2009 Africa Youth Championship in Rwanda and FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt.
He has previously featured for Wa All Stars, Berekum Chelsea, Hearts of Lions, Real Sportive, TP Mazambe and Phoenix Rising in the United States.
