'Great Olympics players must learn how to win games,' says frustrated Kobi-Mensah

Great Olympics head coach Bismark Kobi-Mensah expressed his disappointment at the way his team conceded the only goal in their  defeat to Aduana FC on Saturday at the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Teenager Frank Owusu scored the only goal of the game, increasing Aduana FC's lead on the league standings to six points.

However, Kobi-Mensah was frustrated with the way his team conceded the goal and believed that they had let themselves down.

In a post-match interview with StarTimes, Kobi-Mensah said, "Seriously, very very disappointed especially the way we conceded the goal. I mean when you are serious you can't concede a goal like this."

He added, "I think we have let ourselves down. I'm not happy. They're making things difficult for me. This is not a game that we should lose and looking at the mechanics and what happened in the game.

"I think players have to learn how to win games, how to manage games because you can't pass the ball in the 6-yard box when you're under pressure. This is not the coach's job. It's just unfortunate. I feel so sad."

Following the defeat, Great Olympics dropped into the relegation zone on the 16th position.
