Ghana international Baba Abdul Rahman has shared his excitement following his return from injury at PAOK in Greece.

The experienced left-back returned to action on Thursday for PAOK when they hosted HJK Helsinki in the final group game of the Europa Conference League.

The Black Stars defender made substitute appearance for PAOK to mark his return from an injury that ruled him out for weeks.

The former Chelsea star was introduced in the 71st minute as the Greek outfit beat HJK 4-2 to finish top of Group G and secure knockout stage berth.

Baba Rahman had been sidelined since November 9 after picking up an injury. He missed the last four games for PAOK and was not included in the Black Stars squad for the 2026 World Cup qualification games against Madagascar and Comoros.

"Feels good to be playing at the Toumba Stadium again," wrote Rahman on social media after the game.

Before the injury, he had made 17 appearances across competition for PAOK. However, his return comes as a huge boost for the Greek giants as they seek to make huge impact in the ongoing campaign.

He is a candidate for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations following his return from injury.
