Former Arsenal talisman Thierry Henry has admitted his concernthat bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur may surpass Arsene Wenger's side as the strongest in north London.
Henry, writing in his column for the Sun via theMetro, claims that Spurs' future 'looks bright.'
"Their future looks bright. They have all their best players on long-term deals, which sends a good signal to potential signings. The new stadium is coming on. They play good football," claimed Henry.
Henry then proceeded to state that Spurs will have to compete for the top trophies if they're to look upon their progress positively.Arsenal and Tottenham are both still fighting for the FA Cup, so Wenger and Pochettino's men will both be aiming to clinch the coveted prize.
Henry added: "To attract the best players, Spurs need to show they are winning things too.
"The FA Cup this season would be a good start, having drawn Millwall in the quarters."
Henry, who won two Premier League titles and three FA Cups with Arsenal, concluded by saying: "Spurs are solid, a tight-knit unit with good togetherness and cohesion. But I would say the strength in depth is not there yet. They need about four more quality players.
"If Harry Kane is not playing, they miss him badly. Heung-Min Son did well at the start of the season while Vincent Janssen has not quite been up to it.
"They are not far off. That's what worries me ” Tottenham are finally getting it right."
Tottenham have never managed to finish above Arsenal during Wenger's tenure at Highbury. However Pochettino's men are growing in stature, and with a new stadium on the horizon, the future looks promising on the white side of north London.
