He is underrated but I know what he can offer - Hearts of Oak's Samuel Boadu lauds new signing Isaac Agyenim Boateng

Samuel Boadu has revealed why he convinced the Hearts of Oak hierarchy to sign Isaac Agyenim Boateng.

The former Medeama midfielder has signed a five year deal for the club until 2026.

Despite struggling to beak into the Medeama team, Boadu has spoken high of Boateng insisting he knows what he can offer his team.

"I met him at Medeama SC. He's a very good player but underrated by many," he told Kumasi based Pure FM.

"I know his qualities that's why I recommended him to the management of Hearts of Oak to sign him.

"I asked the club to secure his service because we want to improve our upfront. His acquisition will help players like Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Kwadwo Obeng Junior and others to notch more goals,

"He is a speedster and his output will shock most people in our games," he concluded.

Agyenim Boateng was unattached after ending his four-year stint at Tarkwa based Premier League outfit Medeama SC few months ago.

He spent four seasons in Tarkwa, contributing significantly to the team’s involvement in the league and the FA Cup.

Agyenim Boateng joined Medeama from Asante Kotoko in May 2017.

Hearts of Oak are beefing up their team for their participation in the 20221/22 Caf Champions League.
