Habib Mohammed and Abdul Fatawu Safiu are on trial at Swallows FC. Habib Mohammed is in the process of getting his work permit.
Habib Mohammed had earlier signed for Sekhukhune United but he could not play for them because the club has exhausted their foreign quota of five as per the NSL handbook.
He will play for Swallows and could in fact still return to Sekhukhune should the two teams settle on a gentleman’s agreement in July.
Abdul Fatawu Safiu last featured for Swedish third tier outfit FC Trollhattan, where he had signed a deal until December 2023.
Free agent Abdul Fatawu Safiu will be accessed by coach Dylan Kerr and the club will likely offer him a permanent contract if he impresses the technical handlers.
