This is because officials of the German Bundesliga club have decided to sanction his sale.

The full-back joined SV Hamburg in 2019 from fellow lower-tier league outfit VfL Bochum.

In the past two years, Jan Gyamerah has played key roles for Hamburg but injuries have stalled his development and progress.

With his contract with the club expected to expire in June 2022, Hamburg SV according to sources will listen to offers for the 26-year-old in the January transfer window.

The club is hoping to find a club interested in the player in order to make some money off him before he leaves the club.

This season, Jan Gyamerah has made 11 appearances for SV Hamburg in the German Bundesliga 2. He is yet to score or provide an assist for the team.
