Hasaacas Ladies coach Yussif Basigi has showered praises on his new signings following their 1-0 opening day win against Berry Ladies.

Doreen Copson's lone strike sealed all the points for Hasaacas Ladies at the Sekondi Gyandu Park. The win extended Hasaacas Ladies unbeaten run in the league to 19 games, the longest unbeaten streak in the competition’s history.

Hasaacas have seen 13 players leave the club within a period of 10 months and this necessitated the inclusion of 11 new players.

"We had a very difficult preseason, we even struggled to adapt and looking at the performance today, I can only say my players did very well," Yussif Basigi told Connect FM.

"I will need two more games to access my team and how we can approach the other games. Everyone is talking about Faith Ladies, they are doing well as well as the other teams, I would want to watch the first three games before I can find means of going into the other games."

"Today the new signings did well, I have a lot of trust in them and I know after three games they will gel well enough."
