He is outstanding both on and off the pitch – Swansea manager heaps praises on Ayew

Manager for Swansea City, Steve Cooper has heaped praises on Andre Dede Ayew after a stellar campaign in the English Championship as he describes the forward as an outstanding player both on and off the pitch.

The attacker who was made a vice-captain for the Swans this season played above himself all season as he finished as one of the best players not only in his team but in the division as well.

According to manager Steve Cooper who has been impressed with the display of Andrew Ayew, he hopes the Ghana asset can continue with the club next season.

“I would like nothing more than for Andre to be playing with us again next season”, the Swansea manager said as quoted by bbc.com.

He added, “We have seen the real level of player he is this year, with the goals he has scored and the impact he has had on and off the pitch. It's been brilliant to work with him”.

This season, Ayew scored 18 goals and provide 7 assists after featuring in 47 games for Swansea City.
