The former Eintracht Braunschweig attacker joined the German Bundesliga 2 outfit this year after ending a 2-year stay with Wehen Wiesbaden.

Last Monday on the opening weekend of the 2020/2021 football season in Germany, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh bagged a brace to earn a point for FC St. Pauli in the team’s 2-2 draw against VfL Bochum.

Speaking on the performance of the forward, Coach Timo Schultz has indicated that the Ghanaian has similar traits of Bayern Munich attacker Serge Gnabry.

“I like to compare him to Serge Gnabry. He's already played alone in the front. This works out. You are just not allowed to act with wide, high balls. Then it doesn't make any sense”, the FC St. Pauli gaffer told Bild.

Daniel-Kofi Kyereh, 24, is yet to represent Ghana or Germany at the national team level.
