Accra Hearts of Oak has finally accepted the resignation of acting managing director Vincent Sowah Odotei.

The Board of Directors of the club accepted the newly elected MP's decision to quit and set out the plans to search for a new MD following their meeting on Wednesday night.
They will advertise the position by calling for applications for astute managers to steer the affairs of the club.

Odotei, who replaced Gerald Ankrah who resigned in January last year after 16 months at post, is also a deputy minister under the ruling NPP government.
Odotei that disclosed that he is resigning from his post as Managing Director of Hearts of Oak in order to concentrate on other commitments.
