A special enticing bonus package from the $30,000 prize money for the winner of this year's Premier League has been dangled before players of Accra Hearts of Oak to win the league.

This desperate measure is expected to boost the morale of Hearts players after the double winning bonus promised the team during their game against Bechem United could not elicit the desired motivation for victory.

A Board member of the club, Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, disclosed this to the players during a visit to the club's training grounds at the University of Ghana pitch last Monday.

The league trophy has eluded the former continental club masters for over five seasons now and the Board member said they would do whatever it took for Hearts to bring back joy on the faces of their fans again.

He said the only way they could do that was to ensure victory in the remaining three matches and he had no doubt that if the players could achieve that feat they could win the keague.

"If you win the league we will give part of the $30.000 prize money to you," the board member said to attract applause from the players and encouraged them to put in more effort to achieve that.

Hearts are hoping to win this year's title to close in on their arch rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, who have won the trophy 23 times, two times more than Hearts.
