Head Coach of high flying Ghana Premier League side Accra Hearts of OakFrank Nuttal insists the club is taking the FA Cup seriously with the aim of winning it.

The Phobians are through to the round of 16 of the MTN FA after thrashing Kotoku Royals 4-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Scottish trainer who was happy with the team’s progress so far this season is optimistic the teamcan win the FA Cup title.

“Absolutely, we are taking the cup competition very seriously. It wasn’t in my thoughts about how I can change my team to give other players a chance; that did not even come into my thinking,” he told accraheartsofoaksc.com.

“My whole thought was about how can we win the game and get through to the next round of the competition so that was the governing and reasoning behind the team selection.”

The Phobians last won the FA Cup 17 years ago and are record holders of the title after winning it ten times.

Accra Hearts of Oak will be involved in the Ghana Premier League this weekend when they host Liberty Professionals at the Accra Sports Stadium.
