Accra Hearts of Oak marquee signing Malik Akowuah has recovered fully from the ankle injury he picked up early last month and insists he is ready to go again.

The dynamic midfielder wobbled off in the 4-2 win over Bechem United early last month having picked up an ankle injury.

But after six weeks on the sidelines, Akowuah says he is fully back and focused on the Liberty match.

“I am feeling much better now and I have been training for some time so I can confirm I am fully fit and ready to go again for the team,” he told http://Accraheartsofoaksc.com.

“We have a difficult game coming up against Liberty on Sunday and so we are preparing well to do what we have to do on the field of play.

“The team has slowly been hitting the right rhythm and I believe the only way for us to go now is to move up the table. We know it will not be easy on Sunday against Liberty but we are hoping that at the end of the game, we get what we want which is the three points.”

The former Medeama midfielder also thanked fans for their prayers and moral support during his injury and has assured them he will fight hard to pay them back on the field of play.
