It was reported that Premier League giants Hearts of Oak has permanently secured the services of the Brazilian to help bolster the defense of the club in the close season.

But, head of communication at the club, Opare Addo says the player will basically be on trial first before a final decision can be made on his situation.

“He will start training today together with the team. Everything will first depend on his performance and if we’re happy with his output in training and feel he can help then we’ll take it on from there.”

“We got in touch with him upon the request of our technical team who watched some of his performances in his previous club in Croatia, but like I said earlier we’ll assess him first before taking the final decision and therefore I cannot confirm the number of years we’re going to him without first passing his trials.”

The Phobians lost their top spot in the Ghana Premier League on match day 23 after their defense was exposed leaking in three goals against West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) and will be hoping to trim the rough edges within the squad in pursuit of the league title.
