Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak have officially announced the transfer of defender Konadu Yiadom to Ukrainian club Kryvbas Football Club.

The announcement was made via the club's official Twitter account on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, accompanied by a brief statement.

The club's statement simply read, "Konadu Yiadom has been transferred to Kryvbas Football Club in Ukraine," without providing further details regarding the transfer.

Konadu Yiadom, 23, joined Hearts of Oak at the beginning of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season, making a notable transition from West Africa Football Academy (WAFA).

During his time at the club, the young defender featured in 18 league games, netting one goal in the process.

Yiadom's standout performance came during the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round when he scored the only goal in Hearts of Oak's 1-0 victory over AS Real de Bamako.

However, the defender's performances have also faced criticism for not living up to the high standards he set during his tenure as captain at WAFA, where he displayed strong and commanding performances.
