Accra Hearts of Oak defeated Heart of Lions at the Pobiman Sports Complex as the Phobians’ offseason friendlies continue to roll on.

Coach Kim Grant and his lads continued their impressive run with a 3-2 win over Heart of Lions on Saturday.

Hearts of Oak took the lead through defender Christopher Bonney's goal on the 37th-minute of the game with a stunning free-kick.

Two minutes later, Samuel Agbenega equalised for the Kpando-based club to end the first half in a 1-1 stalemate.

After recess, the Ghana Premier League side continued to dominate the match and lead for the second time via former Hasaacas striker Anthony Quayson strike on the hour mark.

Newly signed attacker Kofi Kordzi netted his third goal for Hearts of Oak on the 82nd minute of the game.

A late goal from Sule Musah wasn't enough for the Division One League side as the match ended in a 3-2 win in favor of Hearts of Oak.

Hearts of Oak will travel to face lower-tier side Pacific Heroes in a friendly on Sunday.
