The Accra-based club confirmed ahead of the upcoming season the departure of their five senior players.
Notable among the players confirmed departing Accra Hearts of Oak is 23-year-old forward Joseph Esso who joined the Phobians from Ebusua Dwarfs.
The club's official statement on the five players leaving reads
"Hearts of Oak management has met players, Joseph Esso, Benjamin Agyare, Christopher Bonney, Bernard Arthur, and Abubakar Traore, and thanked them for their services as both sides opted not to extend their contracts,"
