Hearts of Oak board member, Alhaji Akambi has praised the performance of his team's players despite their inconsistent form this season.
The Phobians who has been inconsistent in the ongoing campaign are currently 4th on the league standing after 29 matches with 45 points.
Drawing comparisons to English Premier League side Chelsea, Akambi highlighted how even a team that spends millions on recruiting players can still struggle.
"They (Hearts of Oak players) are doing well. Chelsea spent a lot of money to buy all the players in Europe and now see them." he said.
Meanwhile, Akambi has thrown his weight behind Central Africa Republic import, Yassan Ouatching who is yet to find the back of the net since his arrival.
"We don't throw our players under the bus." He said.
